The beta app will be offline starting November 1, 2024, and will return in early December. We are working hard to transition to additional solar-powered, sustainable devices.

You can now beta test our mobile web app! This resource will have many of the features of our upcoming mobile app in 2025. New features and functionality will be deployed here first. The mobile web app will show you the outside temperature and sidewalk surface temperature. It will also let you know if it is safe for the dog paws.

Please note that Walkable is currently in beta and is only available for testing in the Sacramento area and can only be accessed from a smartphone. While this resource provides valuable information, decisions about pet health should ultimately be made by their owners.
